Louis Vuitton Outlet Are Not Cheap But Will Walk Out Happy

Like any Louis Vuitton outlet store, if you look cheap and under dress you are racial profiled by the security guards. It's awkward moment because they'll think you are a thief's and come here to steal and not to buy.
I purchased couple items here before and as always they have to cater the best to you because they want the sale.
Anyhow, my most recent visit was to see if I can repair my Louis Vuitton handbags, because the threading came loose. They told me it wasn't repair able because it has already cracked a bit. So I showed them my business card bi fold that I use as wallet and they were not sure if it was repairable and it would cost money, so they told me they would try it out and send it to see if it's repairable. Indeed it was not repairable and I wasn't charged. I was also tricked saying it would be charge; the truth is they do not charge until they work your leather goods. I found out because when I was in line I over heard another agent helping someone repairs her purse.
The customer service is alright, but most part they are hustling so they try to get their sales.
Overall, it's one of the authentic Louis Vuitton outlet stores in San Francisco and its good, just take your time and browse. It's not cheap and you will walk out happy at end because it's nice leather goods.

Great Experience with Unexpectations at Louis Vuitton

I came in to this particular Louis Vuitton after a horrible experience with the Santa Clara store a little shell shocked with my first not so great experience I came in with low expectations.
I came in at 11am on a Sunday and there was quite a crowd and not much line control. Once the doors opened the crowd swarmed in and people at the back of the line were being helped before the people at the front, this isn't a huge gripe for me because I know how self important people can be but it did dock one star.
I waited for quite some time to be helped but was greeted at the door when I walked in which was pleasing and as I was passed by busy associates each passerby assured me they would be with me as soon as possible.. even though I was waiting I was comforted in the fact that people were showing me that they were aware I was waiting, it was so unlike the previous store who when empty still ignored me until I displayed my wallet thick with crisp $100's. It's funny how just a simple, "i'll be right with you." can be comforting.
I was there to exchange a Louis Vuitton handbag and when it came for my exchange they were kind, courteous, and had a smile on their face.
The difference for me between Santa Clara and This store is this. Even though they were swamped they smiled at me, greeted me, and showed me I was important which is what this whole experience is supposed to be about, right?

This Louis Vuitton Outlet Store Must be Listed in Guide Books

I swear this Louis Vuitton outlet store must be listed in guide books because it is like a tourist stop every time I go in. Tons of people, very little English and 10 people hogging 1 mirror and trying on bags they aren't buying. I try to limit my visits to opening (not weekends) or closing when there are less people. I also make sure to only wear all premium designer when I come here so as to get any service. A piece of advice: only buy things there is no chance you will return because if you do attempt to return something not only is it an elongated process but they will stare you down to the point where you won't want to return. Don't try and return something past the return window, they don't budge and they will inspect your item so make sure nothing happened to it.
They don't keep things in stock. Every time i need to buy authentic Louis Vuitton handbags, I have to try them all on and pay in advance (wait a whole weekday to get them) then return two of them when they arrive. It's a pain. The only reason I'm giving it this many stars is because my shoe salesperson there is awesome. Turns out they are nice when you are a repetitive buyer. Visit the one in NY or Vegas which has a more fulsome collection. The LA store is equally as pretentious (rodeo not Santa Monica Place though that has less selection).

Excellent Customer Service Buying Louis Vuitton Handbags

If you want wonderful customer service and actually have the sales associate tell you the history of Louis Vuitton this is not the place for you. You're more likely to get excellent customer service at the smaller and less packed stores.
I've been wanting to buy the Speedy 30 Monogram for over a week, but every store in the Bay Area was sold out, including online. I called this store yesterday morning and Roberto helped me. He said that they were out of stock, but receiving a new shipment that morning and that if he got the bag in he would call me back. Less than an hour later Roberto called me back with good news and I told him I'll come by later to pick it up.
I went around 3pm to pick up my Louis Vuitton bag. Roberto was busy with other customers, but took the time to help me and bring me my Speedy 30 and was very polite. I would have liked to learn more about the history of Louis Vuitton, but I understand that he was very busy and I already knew what I wanted so I didn't mind.
This store is overly crowded by tourists. They are always busy here. At Louis Vuitton you're suppose to get your name called before you approach the register to pay. This rude obnoxious Chinese lady kept hovering over me and pushing on my side because she was trying to rush my transaction so that the cashier could ring her up. She was so rude and ruining my experience at LV. My bf had it with her rudeness and told her to wait her turn then she finally went away. So, beware of rude customers! Next time I buy Louis Vuitton handbags it will probably be at a less hectic store. Overall I was happy with my customer service provided by Roberto, but it was the overcrowding and rude customers that drove me away.

Louis Vuitton at Geary Street Treat Women of Color with No Respe

I purchased an Louis Vuitton wallet for my brother-in law over the Holidays by via customer service (due to no availability in store's) customer service found 1 in Oakbrook IL. After purchase, he wanted something else. I decided to return the wallet to Geary St. L.V. I was greeted by the assistant manager ( I don't like giving names ) she was very nasty at greeting me. I informed her I had a return. She grabbed the bag & look'd at the wallet like it was a fake & asked for the receipt.
I said it's there in the bag (I received an email receipt & client gift receipt)
she said w/attitude "no I can't return w/out the receipt " ? W - T
I was very upset due to the fact I paid $$$ Dollars for a wallet (always buy Louis Vuitton handbags, wallets & shoes every year for me & family) & drove 35 miles to the closest L.V. store around me (been treated like crap in the past there).
At this point - I'm being treated like trash on streets.
I asked for the manager. She then took off to the back room for 10 minutes. Came out w/another sales person (he gave me a nasty look over - while walking to the register counter) she then approached me w/no words on the status to speaking w/a manager - just said "stand in line".
Stood there for 15 minutes until it was my turn (lucky me - I got the nasty look over guy) he opened the bag (again - looked at the wallet like it was a fake) to say in a curt way "I can't return this w/out a receipt" HUH...
I then asked to speak w/a manager. He said "I am the manager & you need to have the receipt - while pointing the return policy on the receipt ( I felt like he was being rude & racist).
I informed him the wallet was shipped to me w/a gift receipt & sales receipt by via email (had all in bag) also, you can look up my last sales history in your system. He refused to offer any further assistance on the matter.
Called customer service to place a complaint about their management staff.
The Manager of the store called me - only to argue the fact that his team did a good job w/servicing me (WHAT ?).
At the end - customer service (apologized about the way I was treated - & seemed not surprised about their unprofessional-ism) sent me to the Stevens Creek L.V. in Valley Fair. The manager there is AWESOME. He was disgusted to hear how I was treated.
He said - " I don't understand how they could not return the wallet w/the receipts you had on hand". He acknowledged the Oakbrook store sent receipt by via email/not by US mail.
Never received a call back from customer service on the issue.
Seems like L.V. wants you to go away - after they get your money.
Being a women of color - I will never shop in the S.F. Geary St. L.V
I'm taking my money to Louis Vuitton outlet.
